How to use

Install the document feeder following the service or installation instructions provided by Ricoh for the specific printer model. Power off the multifunction printer before fitting the replacement unit, align the feeder with the mounting points and connectors, and secure it according to the device’s manual. After installation, power on the printer and run a test scan or copy operation to confirm correct feeding and alignment. If necessary, perform any feeder calibrations or paper size adjustments through the printer settings to match the documents you will process.

Recommendations

Use paper that meets the printer’s specified weight and size ranges, and avoid damaged or wrinkled sheets to minimize jams. Regularly inspect and, if applicable, clean pickup rollers and feed paths according to Ricoh maintenance guidelines to maintain consistent feeding performance.
