Τρίποδο Manfrotto MK055XPRO3-3W

The Manfrotto MK055XPRO3-3W tripod kit combines the 055 aluminium 3-section tripod with the MHXPRO-3W X-PRO 3-way head and a quick-release plate, offering a versatile support system for digital and film cameras. It supports loads up to 8 kg, extends from 9 cm to 183 cm and weighs 3.5 kg, providing a balance of stability and portability for a wide range of photography and video applications. The tripod features a 90° centre column mechanism for quick switching between vertical and horizontal orientations, Quick Power Lock levers for fast leg adjustment, a rotating bubble level for precise framing and an Easy Link connector for accessories.

Advantages

The aluminium construction delivers reliable rigidity while keeping the total weight low for transport. The 90° centre column integrated in the upper casting enables rapid orientation changes without removing the camera. Quick Power Lock (QPL) levers allow single-handed, secure opening and locking of leg sections. The MHXPRO-3W head has retractable levers and friction controls on portrait and tilt axes for smoother balancing and fine adjustments, and the rotating bubble level remains visible during setup. An Easy Link port enables attachment of lights or reflectors to expand functionality.

How to use

Extend or retract the leg sections using the Quick Power Lock levers and set each leg angle with the ergonomic leg-angle selectors to achieve the desired height and stance. Use the 90° centre column mechanism to change between standard and horizontal orientations by releasing and rotating the column in the upper casting; this can be done with the camera attached. Mount the camera on the supplied quick-release plate and secure it to the MHXPRO-3W head, then adjust the head using the three-way controls and friction knobs for precise framing. Use the rotating bubble level on the centre column top to ensure accurate alignment.

Recommendations

For best stability, fully extend the thicker upper leg sections first and lock them with the QPL levers. When shooting with heavy lenses close to the ground, lower the centre column and set wider leg angles. Keep the bubble level in view while making adjustments and attach accessories to the Easy Link connector only within the accessory’s specified weight limits.
