Τρίποδο Manfrotto 290 Xtra

The Manfrotto 290 Xtra is a 3-section aluminium tripod kit with a centre ball head, supplied with a custom shoulder bag. Made for digital and film cameras, it supports up to 5 kg and offers a height range from 40 cm to 170 cm while weighing 2.2 kg. Constructed from durable yet lightweight aluminium, the tripod combines portability with stability for a wide range of shooting conditions.

Advantages

The aluminium construction provides a balance of strength and low weight, making the tripod easy to carry without compromising rigidity at the head. Three-section legs with adjustable aluminium leg locks and a high-performance top casting deliver reliable stability and allow tension adjustment after prolonged use. Four leg-angle positions and an extendable centre column increase setup flexibility, while rubber leg grips improve foothold on different surfaces. The included centre ball head features smooth spherical movement and a quick-release plate for fast angle changes.

Suitable for

• Amateur and entry-level professional photography with digital or film cameras
• Outdoor and studio shoots requiring stable support up to 5 kg
• Portraits, landscapes, long exposures and video with moderate payloads

How to use

Unzip the supplied shoulder bag and remove the tripod. Open the three-section legs and release the aluminium leg locks to extend each section to the desired height, then re-tighten the locks to secure the legs. Select one of the four leg-angle positions for the required stance and, if needed, raise or lower the centre column to refine the working height. Mount your camera on the quick-release plate of the ball head, tighten the head control to lock the camera, and use the ball head adjustment to position the camera for shooting.

Recommendations

For best stability, verify all leg locks are fully tightened and set the centre column to the lowest practical position when using the tripod with heavier lenses or in windy conditions. Regularly check and clean the leg locks and joints to maintain smooth operation and extend service life.
