Toshiba MG11 20TB 3,5 ίντσες Enterprise-Σκληρός Δίσκος (MG11ACA20TE)

The Toshiba MG11 Series 20TB (MG11ACA20TE) is a 3.5-inch internal enterprise hard drive built for high-capacity, around-the-clock data storage. With a 7200 RPM spindle speed, a SATA 6 Gb/s interface and a helium-sealed design, it delivers reliable, efficient access to large datasets in servers, NAS systems and enterprise storage arrays.

Advantages

The helium-sealed platform improves data integrity while lowering power consumption in both idle and read/write modes. Rated for 24/7 operation and workloads of up to 550 TB per year, the MG11 is engineered for demanding enterprise and prosumer environments. A sustained transfer rate of around 600 MB/s keeps large file transfers and backups moving quickly.

Suitable for

• Servers, NAS units and storage arrays needing maximum capacity
• 24/7 always-on data centre and business workloads
• Backup, archive and surveillance storage at scale
• Replacing or expanding enterprise-grade storage

How to use

Mount the drive in a 3.5-inch bay, connect a SATA data cable and a SATA power connector, then initialise and format it in your operating system or NAS interface. For arrays, add it to your RAID set following the controller's guidelines. Ensure adequate airflow around the drive for sustained performance.

Recommendations

Use enterprise or NAS-rated bays with good cooling for 24/7 operation. For data protection, deploy in a RAID configuration and keep regular backups. Confirm your controller or NAS supports drives of 20 TB and larger before installation.
