Τηλεφακός Samyang AF 135mm F1.8 FE MILC Μαύρος

The Samyang AF 135mm F1.8 FE is a lightweight telephoto prime lens for Sony FE/E MILC cameras that delivers high resolution and a bright F1.8 aperture. Built with 13 elements in 11 groups and Ultra Multi-Coating (UMC), the lens is designed for portrait, landscape and astrophotography, offering a maximum magnification of 0.243x and a minimum focus distance of 0.69 m. It combines advanced optics, fast and quiet autofocus with Linear STM, and practical controls including a focus hold button, custom switch and focus range limiter, plus weather sealing and a compact form factor for handheld shooting.

Advantages

The lens provides outstanding edge-to-edge sharpness using 6 special elements (3 ED, 2 HR, 1 UA) that reduce chromatic aberration and improve contrast. Its large F1.8 aperture enables smooth, natural bokeh and effective subject separation. Despite being a 135mm telephoto, the design keeps weight low for easier handheld use while maintaining high optical performance. Autofocus is fast, accurate and quiet thanks to a Linear STM motor, and focus breathing is minimized for more consistent video framing. Practical controls and weather sealing improve usability and reliability in varied shooting conditions.

Suitable for

• Portrait photography with shallow depth of field
• Landscape and astrophotography at a bright aperture
• Close-up and detail shots (0.69 m minimum focus distance)
• Handheld shooting and event photography
• Video work requiring quiet, smooth autofocus and minimal focus breathing

How to use

Mount the lens on a compatible Sony E/FE camera and set the camera to AF mode to use the Linear STM autofocus. Use the focus hold button to lock focus at a chosen distance, or assign a camera function (for example Eye AF) to that button if supported by your camera. Use the custom switch to enable silent aperture adjustment via the focus ring when configured through the optional Lens Station. Select the appropriate focus range with the Focus Range Limiter (FULL, 0.69 m–2 m, or 1.5 m–∞) to reduce AF hunting for specific shooting distances. For video, rely on the minimized focus breathing and quiet AF for smoother focus pulls.

Recommendations

For portrait work, use wide apertures (around f/1.8–f/2.8) to achieve pronounced subject isolation and smooth bokeh. For landscape or astrophotography, stop down toward f/5.6–f/11 to maximise edge-to-edge sharpness. Use the 0.69 m minimum focus distance to capture small details and moderate close-ups, and enable the appropriate focus range limiter when working at fixed distances to improve AF speed. Protect the lens from heavy rain and dust despite its weather sealing.
