Θήκη Telegärtner BASIS V 1 HE

The Telegärtner Housing BASIS V 1 HU is a 1U rack-mounted fibre distribution panel designed to accommodate up to four incoming multifibre cables with a combined maximum of 144 fibres and to distribute them via up to four splice cassettes. With dimensions of 482 mm width, 44 mm height and 265 mm depth, the panel supports a range of connector types including ST, SC, E2000, MT-RJ, LC Duplex and is suitable for structured cabling systems and certified installations.

Advantages

The housing allows installation of up to four multifibre incoming cables and up to four splice cassettes for flexible fibre management. Its 1U form factor and supplied fixing brackets enable installation in a standard 19-inch rack with the option to mount the panel 50 mm recessed from the rack front. Compatibility with multiple connector types increases versatility for different network standards and cabling layouts.

Suitable for

• Data centre and telecom rack installations
• Structured cabling backbones in enterprises
• Environments requiring multiple connector types (ST, SC, E2000, MT-RJ, LC Duplex)
• Splice-based fibre distribution and consolidation points

Key specifications

• Model: Telegärtner BASIS V 1 HU (H02030A0293, EAN 4018359211363)
• Rack unit height: 1 U (44 mm)
• Width: 482 mm (19")
• Depth: 265 mm
• Maximum incoming fibres: 144 (total across up to 4 multifibre cables)
• Splice cassette capacity: up to 4 cassettes
• Compatible connector types: ST, SC, E2000, MT-RJ, LC Duplex, FDDI certified variants

How to use

Mount the housing in a 19-inch rack using the supplied fixing brackets; the brackets also allow installation with a 50 mm backward displacement from the rack front when required. Route up to four incoming multifibre cables through the panel entry points and secure them according to standard bend-radius and strain-relief practices. Install splice cassettes into the allocated positions and perform splicing or connector terminations as needed. Organize and secure fibres within the panel to maintain clear access and protect splice points.

Recommendations

Follow manufacturer guidelines for fibre bend radius, cable securing and environmental conditions. Use compatible splice cassettes and connector types for the intended certification (ST, SC, E2000, MT-RJ, LC Duplex). Ensure proper cable labeling and documentation when consolidating multiple incoming fibres to simplify maintenance.
