How to use

Install the Jung RTR231 on an interior wall away from direct sunlight, drafts and heat sources to ensure accurate room temperature sensing. Connect the device according to the HVAC wiring diagram for 230 V control, ensuring power is isolated before installation. After mounting and wiring, set the desired temperature setpoint and select heating or cooling mode as required. The thermostat will monitor the room temperature and switch outputs to control connected heating or cooling equipment to maintain the setpoint.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, position the thermostat at typical room height and avoid locations near windows, doors, or radiators. Verify compatibility with the existing HVAC actuators and wiring; where necessary, consult installation documentation or a qualified electrician to ensure safe 230 V connections. Periodic verification of setpoints and mode selection helps maintain intended comfort levels and efficient system operation.
