Techly IDATA HDMI2-4K4HDR Video Splitter HDMI 4x HDMI

The Techly IDATA-HDMI2-4K4HDR is an HDMI video splitter designed to distribute a single HDMI source to up to four external displays at resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels. Housed in a compact, black metal enclosure and weighing 196 g, the unit balances portability with durability. With low power consumption of approximately 8 W, it is suitable for continuous operation in both residential and professional environments.

Advantages

This HDMI video splitter provides simultaneous mirrored output to multiple displays while maintaining high-resolution image quality. The metal housing protects internal components from physical damage and helps with heat dissipation during extended use. The compact footprint and light weight make it easy to position near AV racks or integrate into multimedia setups. Energy-efficient operation reduces power draw compared with larger distribution amplifiers.

Suitable for

• Presentations in meeting rooms and classrooms
• Retail signage and point-of-sale displays
• Home theatre and multi-screen viewing setups
• Trade shows and exhibition booths

Key specifications

• Port type: HDMI
• Number of ports: 5 (1 input, 4 outputs)
• Maximum resolution supported: 3840 x 2160 (4K)
• HDR support: yes (supports HDR signals up to 4K)

How to use

Connect the HDMI source device (for example a laptop, media player or set-top box) to the splitter's input port, then connect up to four HDMI displays to the output ports. Power the unit using the supplied adapter and ensure all connected displays are switched to the correct HDMI input. The splitter mirrors the source signal to all connected displays; no additional configuration is required in most setups. When using HDR or 4K content, verify that source device and displays support the same HDR standards and resolution settings to ensure consistent image quality.

Recommendations

Use high-quality, certified HDMI cables to preserve signal integrity at 4K/HDR resolutions and keep cable lengths within manufacturer guidelines. For best results in professional installations, place the splitter in a ventilated location and avoid stacking other heat-generating equipment directly on top of it.
