Techly HDMI αρσενικό σε DVI θηλυκό αντάπτορας IADAP HDMI-606

The Techly IADAP-HDMI-606 cable gender changer converts an HDMI connection to a DVI-D 24+1 interface, allowing digital video signals to be transmitted between devices with different connector types. The adapter features gold-plated contacts that improve signal conductivity and resist corrosion, and its black finish integrates unobtrusively into AV setups. Designed for direct, passive conversion of video signals (without audio conversion), the adapter facilitates connection of HDMI source devices to DVI-D displays or projectors that accept a 24+1 DVI-D input.

Advantages

The adapter provides a compact, passive solution for connecting HDMI sources to DVI-D 24+1 displays without the need for active converters. Gold-plated contacts enhance durability and help maintain signal integrity over repeated insertions. Its small footprint and black colour make it simple to use in constrained spaces and visually compatible with typical AV equipment. As a gender changer, it enables compatibility between devices that share the same cable type but opposite connector genders.

Suitable for

• Connecting an HDMI output (PC, laptop, media player) to a DVI-D 24+1 monitor or projector
• Temporary or permanent AV installations where only video signal conversion is required
• Workstations and offices using mixed HDMI and DVI-D equipment

Key specifications

• Connector 1: HDMI
• Connector 2: DVI-D 24+1
• Contacts: gold-plated for improved conductivity
• Colour: black
• Function: passive gender changer for digital video signals (DVI-D/HDMI)

How to use

Insert the HDMI side of the IADAP-HDMI-606 into the HDMI cable or device connector and attach a DVI-D 24+1 cable or device to the DVI-D side. Ensure connectors are aligned before applying gentle pressure to avoid bending pins. This adapter passes only digital video signals; audio will not be transmitted to DVI-D displays. No external power or drivers are required. Verify the display input is set to the appropriate DVI-D source and configure the video output resolution on the source device to match the display capabilities.

Recommendations

Use this adapter for direct digital video connections where audio transfer is not needed. For high-resolution displays, confirm that source and display resolutions and refresh rates are compatible. Avoid excessive bending of connected cables near the adapter and disconnect by holding the connector housing rather than pulling the cable.
