Ταινία βαφής 3M 3M-201E, 18 mm × 50 m, χαρτοταινία κρεπ

3M 3M-201E masking tape is an 18 mm wide, 50 m long crepe paper painter's tape designed to produce neat paint edges and provide temporary protection for a variety of surfaces. The tape combines easy hand-tearing crepe paper backing with an adhesive formulated to stick reliably to painted and unpainted surfaces while allowing clean removal without leaving adhesive residue when removed within recommended time frames.

Advantages

The crepe paper backing is flexible and conforms well to irregular surfaces and contours, enabling accurate masking along trim, corners and curved profiles. The adhesive provides balanced tack for firm hold during painting yet permits residue-free removal from many surfaces when peeled off within the specified removal window. The narrow 18 mm width offers precision control for small detail work and tight masking jobs, while the 50 m roll length reduces the need for frequent replacement on larger projects.

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust, oil or loose paint before applying the tape. Unroll and press the tape firmly along the intended edge, smoothing by hand to ensure good contact. Apply paint following manufacturer instructions for the paint product. Remove the tape by peeling back slowly at a 45-degree angle within the time recommended for masking tapes on painted surfaces to minimize risk of residue or paint lift. For curved or irregular profiles, work in short lengths and press edges firmly to prevent paint bleed.

Recommendations

For best results, test on a small, inconspicuous area first, particularly on recently painted or delicate surfaces. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures while masked; remove tape within the time frame recommended for temporary masking to ensure clean removal.
