Ταινία συσκευασίας Tesa 4089, πολυπροπυλένιο, 75 mm × 66 m

Tesa 4089 is a polypropylene packing tape with a width of 75 mm and a roll length of 66 m. It is designed for sealing corrugated cardboard boxes and general packing tasks, providing reliable adhesion on standard packing surfaces. The tape is suitable for home, office and light industrial use, offering a balance of tensile strength and tack for everyday shipping, storage and moving needs.

Advantages

The polypropylene construction delivers a smooth surface and consistent unwind for machine or hand application. The adhesive formulation ensures immediate tack and secure sealing on cardboard without leaving excessive residue. Its 75 mm width covers seams efficiently, reducing the number of strips needed per box, while the 66 m roll length provides multiple uses before replacement.

Suitable for

• Sealing moving and storage boxes
• Packaging parcels for shipping
• Everyday office and home packing tasks
• Light-duty industrial packing and bundling

Key specifications

• Material: biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP)
• Width: 75 mm
• Length per roll: 66 m
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive suitable for cardboard
• Colour: transparent (clear)
• Core diameter: standard for manual dispensers

How to use

Ensure the box or surface is dry, clean and free of dust or grease before application. Cut or tear the tape to desired length or apply directly from the roll while holding it taut. Press the tape firmly along the seam to achieve complete contact between adhesive and packing surface. For heavier or high-stress seals, apply overlapping strips or reinforce edges and corners.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to maintain adhesive performance. For best results, apply at room temperature and use a suitable dispenser for faster, more consistent application. Test adhesion on a small area if packing surfaces are coated or non-standard.
