Ταινία από ύφασμα 3M 389R50, κόκκινη, 50 mm x 50 m

3M 389R50 is a red adhesive fabric tape with a width of 50 mm and a length of 50 m. It combines a cloth backing with a pressure-sensitive adhesive to provide flexible, tearable-by-hand performance for repairs, bundling and temporary surface protection. The tape is designed to conform to irregular shapes and hold on a variety of substrates commonly encountered in professional and household tasks.

Advantages

The cloth backing ensures good conformability and resistance to abrasion while allowing the tape to be torn by hand for quick application. The pressure-sensitive adhesive provides reliable immediate tack and short-term holding power on fabrics, cardboard, painted surfaces and many plastics. The bright red color improves visibility for temporary marking or identification. The roll format (50 mm x 50 m) offers a balance between coverage and convenience for frequent use.

Suitable for

• Temporary repairs of fabric, canvas and upholstery
• Bundling cables and hoses
• Masking and surface protection during painting or maintenance
• Marking and colour-coding in workshops and event setups
• General-purpose holding and packaging tasks

Key specifications

• Backing material: cloth (woven fabric)
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Colour: red
• Width: 50 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Hand-tearable: yes
• Conformability: good, suitable for irregular surfaces

How to use

Clean and dry the surface before application to ensure best initial adhesion. Measure and cut the required length, then press the tape firmly onto the substrate using your fingers or a roller to remove air gaps and improve contact. For fabric repairs, overlap the tape beyond the damaged area and press firmly along the edges. Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures or direct sunlight if long-term performance is required; for temporary applications, normal indoor and outdoor conditions are acceptable.

Recommendations

Use the tape for short- to medium-term fixes and tasks where a flexible, visible cloth tape is needed. Test adhesion on sensitive or painted surfaces in an inconspicuous area prior to extended use. Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain adhesive properties.
