Σύστημα δικτύου mesh SILEX BR-400AN 2,4 GHz 5 GHz Wi-Fi 802.11ac

The SILEX BR-400AN Mesh Network System delivers dual-band Wi‑Fi 802.11ac performance across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with aggregate speeds up to 1 Gbps. Designed for home and small office environments, the BR-400AN creates a mesh coverage layer to reduce dead zones and maintain stable connections while devices move between nodes. The system supports multiple simultaneous clients, offers automatic channel selection, and provides roaming that keeps sessions uninterrupted during video calls, streaming or online gaming.

Advantages

The BR-400AN combines dual-band 802.11ac throughput with mesh networking to extend coverage without complex cabling or manual configuration. Its automatic band steering and roaming capability optimize client connections to the most appropriate frequency and node. The system is suited for consistent throughput across a broad area and supports multiple bandwidth-intensive activities at the same time. Setup is designed to be straightforward, enabling quick deployment in residential and small office setups.

How to use

Connect the primary BR-400AN unit to your internet gateway using an Ethernet cable and power on the device. Place additional BR-400AN nodes around the area to form a mesh; positioning nodes in open areas and at intermediate distances from the primary unit helps achieve uniform coverage. Use the provided setup application or web interface to complete initial configuration, set network name (SSID) and password, and apply any desired security or access controls. The system will manage client associations, band selection, and roaming automatically during operation.

Recommendations

For best performance, position nodes away from large metal objects and sources of interference such as microwave ovens or cordless phones. Maintain firmware updates supplied by the manufacturer and place nodes on different floors or central points in rooms to minimize signal obstruction. For environments with very high device density or specialized network requirements, consider supplementing the mesh with wired backhaul where supported.
