How to use

Install the AVerMedia GC571 into an available PCIe slot on a compatible Windows 10 or Windows 11 desktop system, ensuring the PC is powered off during installation. After physical installation, power on the system and install or update the manufacturer drivers and any recommended capture software. Connect the video source to the card using the appropriate input connectors, select the preferred capture resolution and format in the capture software, and configure storage and encoding settings. Verify that CPU and available memory meet the minimum recommendations to avoid dropped frames during high-resolution capture.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K capture and streaming, use a system with a modern multi-core processor and SSD storage. Close unnecessary applications to free CPU and memory resources, and ensure drivers and capture software are kept up to date. When capturing from different source types, confirm input format and refresh rates in software settings to match the source device for optimal quality.
