Synology RackStation RS1626xs+ 4-Bay Rackmount NAS (χωρίς σκληρούς δίσκους)

The Synology RackStation RS1626xs+ is a 4-bay rackmount NAS server for demanding business storage, backup and virtualisation. With hot-swappable SATA drive bays and support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and JBOD, it delivers flexible, fault-tolerant capacity that scales with your needs. Supplied diskless so you can fit drives to your requirements.

Advantages

Multiple RAID levels protect data against drive failure while keeping performance high, and hot-swap bays let you replace or expand drives without downtime. As a rackmount unit it fits neatly into a server cabinet, and Synology's DSM software adds centralised file sharing, snapshots, backup and surveillance, plus multi-user access control. Expansion support allows additional bays as your storage grows.

Suitable for

• Business file storage, backup and archiving
• Virtualisation and shared team storage
• RAID-protected, fault-tolerant data
• Rack-based IT environments needing room to scale

Add an expansion unit when you need more bays.

Recommendations

Use NAS-rated drives (such as the Toshiba N300 or Synology HAT series) matched by capacity for the array. Configure RAID 5 or 6 for a balance of capacity and redundancy, and set up regular off-device backups. Keep DSM updated for the latest features and security.
