Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών Synergy 21 50m OM3 LC - LC

The Synergy 21 50m OM3 LC - LC fibre optic cable is a 50-metre multimode link designed for high-speed data transmission in networking and InfiniBand environments. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM3 multimode specification, the cable supports full duplex communication and is suitable for installations that require reliable bandwidth and low attenuation over medium distances. Its LC duplex connectors on both ends provide compact mating with transceivers and patch panels commonly used in data centers and server rooms.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode cable offers consistent signal integrity and reduced dispersion for short to medium-range high-bandwidth links. The LC–LC duplex termination ensures a compact footprint and compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment and transceivers. The 50 m length provides flexibility in rack-to-rack or room-to-room connectivity while minimizing the need for additional splices or intermediate links.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects and server rack connections
• InfiniBand high-performance computing links
• Enterprise backbone and network aggregation
• Patch panel to switch or transceiver connections

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode OM3
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Length: 50 m
• Mode: Full duplex
• Typical applications: InfiniBand and high-speed Ethernet links

How to use

Install the cable by aligning the LC connectors with the corresponding LC ports on transceivers, switches, or patch panels and insert until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strain, maintaining the minimum bend radius specified by industry standards for OM3 multimode fibre. Use cable management such as trays or organisers to secure the run and prevent excess tension. For duplex links ensure correct polarity by matching transmit to receive pairs on each end.

Recommendations

Inspect connectors for dust and contamination before connection and use appropriate fibre-cleaning tools if necessary. Avoid repeated tight bends and excessive pulling force. For optimal performance in InfiniBand or high-speed Ethernet environments, pair this OM3 link with compatible transceivers and follow manufacturer guidelines for insertion loss and end-to-end testing.
