The ShiverPeaks BS71230-6 3xRJ-12 Black wire connector provides a compact solution for connecting telephone and low-voltage data lines. This unit integrates three RJ-12 interfaces in a single black housing and supports both male and female mating, allowing straightforward adaptation between cable types and devices. Supplied as a single connector per pack, it is intended for field wiring, patching and short interconnects where a small, reliable modular connection is required.

Advantages

The connector combines three RJ-12 ports in one compact body for space-efficient installations. Its mixed male and female configuration simplifies transitions between different cable terminations without additional adapters. The black finish resists visible soiling and blends with standard installation equipment. Designed for modular telephone and low-voltage data connections, it helps maintain signal integrity across short links and patching points.

Suitable for

• Telephone line extension and patching
• Low-voltage data interconnects in office or home environments
• Temporary or permanent small-scale wiring and testing

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-12, three ports integrated
• Contact arrangement: supports both male and female mating
• Color: black housing
• Application: telephone lines and low-voltage signal wiring
• Packaging: single connector per pack

How to use

Prepare the cables by terminating them with compatible RJ-12 plugs or jacks. Insert the appropriate male or female plug into the corresponding port on the connector until it latches. Verify each connection by testing the circuit or using a line tester to confirm continuity and correct pin mapping. For permanent runs, ensure plugs are fully seated and strain relief or cable management is applied to avoid stress on the connection.

Recommendations

Use this connector for short runs, patching, and temporary setups rather than long-distance cabling. Avoid exposure to excessive moisture and mechanical strain; route cables through protective conduits or use cable ties to secure connections. Verify wiring scheme compatibility (pinout) before final installation to prevent miswiring.
