The ShiverPeaks Wire connector RJ-45 72067-20GR Grey is a compact, consumer-oriented RJ-45 male connector supplied in a pack of 20. Designed for creating and repairing Ethernet terminations, this grey connector provides a standardized 8P8C interface for network cables. Its construction supports repeated insertion into RJ-45 sockets and is suitable for use in residential, office, and light commercial networking setups.

Advantages

This RJ-45 wire connector offers a consistent 8P8C contact arrangement for reliable signal transmission and straightforward installation. The grey housing provides visual consistency when matching cables in installations, while the ruggedized body and contact design reduce the risk of deformation during use. Supplied in a 20-piece pack, the connectors are convenient for batch terminations and small projects.

Suitable for

• Repairing or assembling Ethernet patch cables
• Home network upgrades and wiring
• Small office and branch networking setups
• Testing and prototyping network connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 (8P8C) male
• Color: Grey
• Quantity: 20 pieces per pack
• Compatibility: Standard twisted-pair Ethernet cables (e.g., Cat5e/Cat6) where 8P8C termination is required
• Material: durable plastic housing with metal contacts for signal conduction

How to use

Strip the outer jacket of the Ethernet cable to expose the twisted pairs, align and arrange the conductors according to the required wiring standard (T568A or T568B), then slide the wires fully into the connector so each conductor seats into its corresponding contact slot. Use an appropriate crimping tool to secure the connector onto the cable, ensuring a firm mechanical and electrical connection. Verify continuity and correct pinout with a cable tester before deployment.

Recommendations

For consistent results, use a quality RJ-45 crimping tool and test each terminated cable with a network cable tester. Avoid exposing terminated connectors to excessive bending or tensile stress to maintain long-term contact integrity.
