The ShiverPeaks 72067-20G RJ-45 wire connector in green is a pack of 20 male RJ-45 plugs designed for creating or repairing Ethernet cables and network patch leads. The connectors feature a durable plastic housing and gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent electrical contact and reduced corrosion. The green color provides straightforward visual identification in patch panels, cable bundles and structured cabling environments.

Advantages

These RJ-45 connectors offer reliable signal transfer and long-term mechanical stability thanks to robust contact surfaces and a solid housing design. The pack format of 20 pieces is convenient for small installations, repairs or maintenance tasks. Color coding simplifies cable organization and reduces the chance of connection errors when managing multiple runs or network segments.

Suitable for

• Crimping new Ethernet cables (Cat5e/Cat6 compatible where applicable)
• Replacing damaged RJ-45 plugs on patch cords or stranded/solid conductors
• Organizing and color-coding network runs in offices, data cabinets, or home networks

Key specifications

• Connector type: male RJ-45 plug
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Housing color: green for visual identification
• Pack quantity: 20 pieces per pack
• Compatibility: designed for standard 8P8C modular Ethernet cabling

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the sheath to expose the individual conductors, align the wires according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B), and insert them fully into the connector so each conductor seats under its respective contact. Use an appropriate crimping tool to secure the connector to the cable, ensuring a firm mechanical and electrical connection. After crimping, verify continuity and pair integrity with a cable tester before deploying the cable in the network.

Recommendations

Use a compatible crimping tool and test each finished cable to confirm correct pinout and signal continuity. For high-speed or long-run installations, verify that the connector type matches the cable category and follow industry best practices for cable length, shielding and termination to maintain network performance.
