The ShiverPeaks BS52090-R RCA wire connector is a single male RCA plug engineered for reliable audio and video signal transmission. Constructed from stainless steel, the connector offers a corrosion-resistant exterior and a compact form factor suitable for consumer and professional AV cabling. It provides a secure mechanical fit and stable electrical contact for analog signals in playback, recording and monitoring setups.

Advantages

Stainless steel construction increases durability and resists surface corrosion in typical indoor environments. The male RCA design ensures compatibility with standard RCA female sockets used on amplifiers, receivers, DVD/Blu-ray players and many audio/video components. The compact single-pack format makes it easy to replace or add individual connectors without excess packaging.

Suitable for

• Connecting analog audio sources to amplifiers, mixers or powered speakers
• Linking video output devices to displays that accept RCA inputs
• Repairing or terminating AV cables in home theatre or studio setups
• Temporary or permanent wiring tasks where a single reliable RCA connector is needed

Key specifications

• Connector type: male RCA plug
• Material: stainless steel housing
• Packaging: single unit
• Intended signal: analog audio and composite video
• Compatibility: standard RCA female sockets

How to use

Strip the cable to expose the center conductor and the surrounding shield, taking care not to nick the conductors. Insert the cable into the connector body according to the connector design, ensuring the center conductor seats in the pin and the shield makes solid contact with the outer sleeve. Secure the connector according to its assembly method (crimp, solder or screw), verify mechanical stability, and test signal continuity before final installation.

Recommendations

For best results in audio and video installations, use properly prepared cable with adequate conductor thickness and shielding. Avoid excessive bending near the connector and periodically inspect connectors for corrosion or looseness. When soldering, use appropriate flux and solder to ensure reliable electrical contact; when crimping, use a compatible crimp tool sized for the connector.
