Σύνδεσμος οπτικών ινών SC υποδοχή–υποδοχή DELOCK 85993, μπεζ, συσκευασία 4 τεμ.

DELOCK 85993 is an SC female–female fibre optic connector in a beige finish, supplied as a pack of four. It is designed to join two SC-terminated optical cables with female interfaces, enabling a simple and compact coupling solution for fibre patching, temporary joins and straightforward extension of existing SC connections in networking and telecommunication environments. The connector is supplied in a polybag and intended for in-field or laboratory use where a quick, passive connection between SC plugs is required.

Advantages

The SC female–female design provides a reliable mechanical connection between two SC male connectors without requiring tools or polishing. The compact inline coupling keeps signal path alignment stable while occupying minimal space in panels, enclosures or temporary cable runs. Supplied as a set of four, the pack offers multiple coupling points for small installations or spares for maintenance tasks. The neutral beige colour matches many fibre components and helps maintain a consistent appearance in mixed-equipment setups.

Suitable for

• Joining two SC-terminated optical patch cables
• Temporary fibre links during installation or testing
• Small-scale network repairs and maintenance
• Laboratory or prototype setups requiring flexible fibre coupling

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC female–female inline coupler
• Colour: beige
• Pack quantity: 4 pieces
• Mounting style: inline/panelless coupling for plug-to-plug connection
• Intended fibre interface: SC simplex plugs
• Application environment: fibre patching, temporary joins, testing
• Country of manufacture: China

How to use

Align the SC male plugs from each optical cable and insert them into the two ends of the SC female–female coupler until they click or seat fully. Verify that both plugs are fully inserted to ensure correct mechanical contact and minimal insertion loss. For temporary setups or tests, handle fibre ends by their connectors and avoid touching the ferrule faces; use dust caps when the coupler is not in use. When removing the cables, pull straight out on the connector bodies to avoid stressing the fibre.

Recommendations

Use this SC female–female connector for short-term joins and testing rather than as a permanent splice; for long-term installations, consider fusion splicing or professionally terminated patch panels to minimize insertion loss and ensure long-term reliability. Keep ferrules clean and free of dust by using appropriate cleaning tools and dust caps between uses.
