The ShiverPeaks Wire Connector RJ-45 72067-G in green is a single male RJ-45 connector intended for creating or repairing network cable ends. Designed for use with standard eight-conductor Ethernet cables, this connector enables secure plug-in connections for data transmission and network devices. Supplied as one unit, it is suitable for field repairs, patch cable assembly and other situations requiring a reliable RJ-45 termination.

Advantages

This RJ-45 connector provides a compact, industry-standard termination with a robust housing and visible contacts for reliable electrical contact. Its male plug form factor ensures compatibility with standard RJ-45 jacks and network equipment. The green color allows for simple visual identification within cable bundles or structured cabling systems. Packaged as an individual piece, it is convenient for single repairs or small installations.

Suitable for

• Repairing damaged Ethernet cable ends
• Assembling patch cables for local area networks
• Field or on-site network maintenance and testing
• Color-coding connections in structured cabling

Key specifications

• Connector type: male RJ-45 plug
• Compatibility: 8P8C Ethernet cables (Cat5e/Cat6 typical)
• Housing color: green
• Quantity: single unit
• Intended use: data/network cable termination

How to use

Strip the outer jacket of the Ethernet cable to expose the eight conductors, arrange the wires in the appropriate wiring order (T568A or T568B), and insert them fully into the RJ-45 connector until each conductor seats under its contact. Use a suitable crimping tool to secure the connector to the cable, ensuring the strain relief section grips the jacket. Verify the termination with a cable tester or by connecting to network equipment before final installation.

Recommendations

For consistent results, use a compatible crimping tool and test each terminated cable. Select the green connector when you need visual differentiation in cable management. Avoid repeated re-terminations on the same cable end to prevent signal degradation.
