The ShiverPeaks Wire Connector RJ-45 72067-100GR Grey is a pack of 100 male RJ-45 connectors designed for terminating standard Ethernet cables. The grey plastic housing and metal contacts provide a reliable interface for data transmission and are compatible with common networking equipment. The pack quantity suits installation, maintenance, and bulk cabling projects where multiple terminations are required.

Advantages

These RJ-45 connectors offer consistent contact alignment and sturdy contact pins engineered for repeated insertions. The plastic housing resists deformation during crimping to maintain contact integrity. Supplied in a bulk pack of 100 pieces, they reduce handling time for larger cabling tasks and help maintain uniform performance across multiple terminations.

Suitable for

• Terminating CAT5e and CAT6 compatible Ethernet cables for local area networks
• Network installation and structured cabling projects
• Repairing or replacing damaged RJ-45 ends on patch cords and patch panels
• Bulk crimping tasks in workshops and IT maintenance operations

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45, male
• Housing colour: Grey
• Pack quantity: 100 pieces
• Contact material: metal contacts suitable for Ethernet signal transmission
• Compatibility: designed for standard 8P8C Ethernet cable terminations (typical for CAT5e/CAT6)

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose the twisted pairs, untwist and align conductors according to the required wiring standard, then insert the wires fully into the RJ-45 connector so each wire reaches its corresponding contact. Use an appropriate crimping tool sized for RJ-45 connectors to compress the housing and secure the metal contacts onto the conductors. After crimping, verify each connection with a cable tester or by checking link status on the connected network device.

Recommendations

Use a quality RJ-45 crimping tool and cut the cable jacket to the correct length to avoid exposed conductors. For installations requiring guaranteed performance at higher frequencies, pair these connectors with properly rated cable (e.g., CAT5e or CAT6) and verify continuity and pairing with a cable tester after termination.
