The DeLOCK 60384 cable gland is a grey plastic component supplied in a pack of two. It creates a watertight seal for housings and is intended for routing up to four round cables or electrical conduits through an enclosure. The integrated sealing element increases protection against dust and moisture while the robust construction suits industrial environments.

Advantages

The grey plastic material offers durability and resistance to common environmental influences. The integrated seal provides IP68-level protection against dust and water ingress when installed correctly. Its compact design supports neat cable management and simplifies feed-through of multiple round cables or tubes.

Suitable for

• Routing round cables through electrical enclosures
• Sealing cable and conduit entry points in control cabinets
• Use in automation and machine systems
• Indoor and outdoor installations where dust and moisture protection is required

How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized opening in the enclosure, insert the cable gland and route the round cables or electrical tubes through the gland opening. Tighten the gland according to the enclosure and cable diameters to compress the integrated seal and achieve a watertight fit. Verify the seal after installation to ensure correct compression and positioning.

Recommendations

Use matching cable diameters and follow enclosure manufacturer guidelines to achieve the stated protection level. Periodically inspect the seal for wear or damage and replace the gland if the seal integrity is compromised.
