How to use

Mount the CloudEngine S110-24T2SR into a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate mounting brackets and fasteners. Connect powered devices to the front-panel RJ-45 ports with CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cables to establish wired links at Gigabit speeds. Configure basic network parameters through the switch management interface or use preconfigured settings for plug-and-play deployments. Ensure proper airflow and rack cable management to maintain signal integrity and device cooling.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, use quality twisted-pair cabling rated for Gigabit Ethernet and keep firmware updated according to Huawei’s maintenance guidance. Place the switch in a ventilated rack space and avoid obstructing front- or rear-panel airflow. For larger deployments, combine multiple access switches with aggregation devices to scale capacity and simplify management.
