Στηθοσκόπιο ks tools 1120 mm μοντέλο 150.1645 — μηχανικό στηθοσκόπιο διάγνωσης

The ks tools mechanical diagnostic stethoscope, model 150.1645, features a 1120 mm probe length designed to detect and locate mechanical noises in engines, bearings and other machinery. The instrument transmits acoustic signals from contact points to the listener, allowing technicians to identify the source of abnormal sounds during troubleshooting and routine inspections. Built for workshop conditions, the stethoscope combines a long tactile probe with precise acoustic transmission to support maintenance and diagnostic workflows.

Advantages

The long 1120 mm probe enables access to hard-to-reach components without disassembly, while the mechanical design provides direct sound transmission for reliable detection of friction, impact and airflow noises. Lightweight construction and a focused tip help isolate sound sources, and the handheld format requires no power source or electronic calibration. The tool is compatible with standard workshop practices and can be used repeatedly without consumables.

Suitable for

• Locating engine knock, piston slap and valve train noise
• Detecting bearing roughness and gearbox irregularities
• Identifying air leaks, vacuum and intake/exhaust noises
• Routine maintenance inspections in workshops and service bays
• On-site machinery diagnostics in production and facility maintenance

Key specifications

• Probe length: 1120 mm
• Type: mechanical diagnostic stethoscope
• Contact tip: focused acoustic tip for precise pickup
• Material: durable, workshop-suitable construction
• Power: passive mechanical operation, no batteries required

How to use

Hold the stethoscope earpiece to your ear and place the probe tip gently against the component under test. Move the probe along bearings, housings and engine parts while the engine or machine is operating to isolate changes in sound. Apply light pressure to ensure consistent contact; avoid excessive force that could introduce false noises. For best results, compare sounds from symmetrical components or multiple points to identify the exact location of a fault.

Recommendations

Use clean contact points and, if necessary, a small amount of solvent to remove heavy grease that may dampen sound transmission. Wear hearing protection if working near loud equipment, and ensure the machine is operated at the speed or load that reproduces the observed noise. Store the stethoscope in a dry place to preserve acoustic performance.
