Steinel 066123 Διακόπτης λυκόφωτος, Δίκτυο 230 V, λευκό

Steinel 066123 twilight/dusk switch is a mains-operated light sensor designed for automatic control of lighting at low ambient light levels. Intended for 230 V installations, the white enclosure houses a photocell that detects dusk and dawn to switch lighting circuits accordingly. The device is suitable for timed-free, light-dependent control of outdoor and indoor luminaires, signage illumination and other lighting that benefit from automatic activation at night and deactivation at daylight.

Advantages

The twilight switch provides hands-free operation based on ambient light, reducing manual intervention and helping to lower energy consumption by ensuring lights run only when needed. Its mains 230 V compatibility allows direct integration with standard domestic and commercial electrical systems. The compact white housing blends with most installations and supports reliable detection of natural light changes for consistent switching at dusk and dawn.

Suitable for

• Outdoor area and pathway lighting
• Facade and architectural lighting
• Signage and display illumination
• Porch, stairway and garage lighting
• Indoor lights where automatic day/night switching is required

Key specifications

• Supply voltage: mains 230 V AC
• Function: automatic light-dependent switching at dusk and dawn
• Housing color: white
• Sensor type: photocell for ambient light detection
• Mounting: suitable for fixed installation on buildings or housings

How to use

Install the twilight switch in a location with unobstructed exposure to ambient light, away from artificial light sources that could affect detection. Connect the device into the lighting circuit following applicable electrical regulations and isolate power before wiring. Once installed and powered, the sensor will automatically switch connected lighting on at dusk and off at dawn without further user intervention. Adjust installation position if necessary to achieve the desired switching threshold based on local light conditions.

Recommendations

Place the sensor where it receives representative ambient daylight but is not directly illuminated by the controlled lights. Ensure wiring and installation are performed by a qualified electrician according to local standards. For reliable operation, avoid mounting near strong artificial lighting or reflective surfaces that could trigger premature switching.
