This Thunderbolt 3 docking station by Delock connects to a computer via a Thunderbolt 3 port and supplies multiple interfaces including dual DisplayPort outputs, USB ports, SD and microSD card slots, audio connectors and a Gigabit Ethernet port. It supports Multi-Stream Transport (MST) for extended desktop configurations and offers USB Power Delivery 3.0 up to 60 W to charge compatible laptops or tablets.

Advantages

The docking station provides two DisplayPort outputs that can drive multiple monitors via MST, several USB Type-A ports for peripherals, an SD and microSD card reader for memory expansion, headset audio connections and a Gigabit LAN port for stable wired network access. Power Delivery 3.0 up to 60 W enables charging of connected devices while using the dock.

Suitable for

• Expanding laptop connectivity with multiple monitors and peripherals
• Workstations requiring wired Gigabit Ethernet
• Users who need SD / microSD card access for photo or file transfer
• Setups that use headset audio and several USB Type-A peripherals

How to use

Connect the dock to a computer with a Thunderbolt 3 port using the included cable. Attach monitors to the DisplayPort outputs and configure extended desktop or mirrored displays in your operating system; MST allows combining multiple monitors into one extended desktop when supported by the host. Plug USB peripherals, insert SD or microSD cards, and connect an Ethernet cable as needed. If required, connect a suitable 60 W (or higher) USB-C power adapter to the dock’s PD port to supply power to the laptop while using the docking station.

Recommendations

For optimal multi-monitor performance check your computer’s Thunderbolt 3 controller and GPU capabilities; maximum resolutions and the number of supported simultaneous displays depend on host hardware and operating system. Use a compatible USB-C power adapter that supports PD 3.0 to ensure reliable charging up to 60 W.
