Why choose it

The SC-Onyx is engineered for transparent signal transfer with minimal capacitance and resistance. Its spiral copper shielding rejects electromagnetic interference, while the flexible PVC jacket withstands frequent handling and tight bends. Whether you're patching in a studio, wiring a live rack, or connecting instruments, this cable provides consistent, low-noise performance night after night.

Ideal use cases

• Studio patchbays and outboard gear connections
• Live sound racks and stage boxes
• Balanced microphone or line-level signals
• Instrument connections where balanced operation is required
• Fixed installations requiring reliable audio links

Good to know

The cable is supplied with bare wire ends (no connectors), allowing you to terminate with your preferred XLR, TRS, or other connectors. Its compact 1-meter length reduces clutter in dense setups, and the black jacket blends discreetly into any environment. Sommer Cable's precision manufacturing ensures consistent electrical characteristics along the entire length.
