Ορθογώνιο πρίσμα Skywatcher SW-7002 45° προσαρμογέας προσοφθάλμιου 1,25 inch

Skywatcher SW-7002 45° prismatic right-angle diagonal for 1.25-inch eyepieces redirects the optical path to a comfortable viewing angle. The diagonal is intended for use with telescopes that accept 1.25-inch eyepieces and provides a firm, rotatable eyepiece mount that helps simplify framing when observing objects at high altitudes. The prismatic design preserves image orientation suitable for many astronomical and terrestrial viewing situations while maintaining a stable optical connection between the eyepiece and telescope.

Advantages

The diagonal offers a fixed 45° viewing angle that reduces neck strain and makes high-elevation targets easier to observe. Its prismatic element delivers consistent image quality with minimal alignment issues and supports common 1.25-inch eyepieces. The construction provides a secure fit and straightforward insertion and removal of eyepieces, helping to keep setup and adjustments efficient during observing sessions.

Suitable for

• Astronomical observing of planets, Moon, and deep-sky objects with refractors and reflectors that accept 1.25-inch eyepieces
• Terrestrial viewing from elevated or awkward telescope positions where a downward viewing angle improves comfort
• Educational and amateur astronomy sessions where stable and repeatable eyepiece positioning is required

Key specifications

• Viewing angle: 45°
• Eyepiece interface: 1.25-inch (31.7 mm) female
• Optical element: right-angle prism
• Body: metal housing for a stable connection
• Rotation/adjustment: rotatable eyepiece holder for framing

How to use

Insert the diagonal into the telescope focuser or visual back designed for 1.25-inch accessories and secure it according to the telescope's fastening method. Insert a compatible 1.25-inch eyepiece into the diagonal's eyepiece holder and tighten the retention screws or locking mechanism. Rotate the eyepiece holder as needed to achieve the most comfortable viewing orientation, then focus using the telescope's focuser. When changing eyepieces or removing the diagonal, loosen the retention screws and handle components gently to avoid misalignment of the prism.

Recommendations

Use with eyepieces and accessories that match the 1.25-inch standard and avoid overtightening retention screws. Store the diagonal in a dry, dust-free place and protect optical surfaces with caps when not in use. For terrestrial viewing, ensure the diagonal is securely mounted before adjusting position; for astronomical work, allow a short period for thermal equilibrium if moving between different temperatures.
