Σκληρός δίσκος SSD Transcend 4 TB φορητός USB Type-C ESD420

The Transcend ESD420 portable SSD is a compact, magnetic-compatible external drive with up to 4TB capacity and a USB Type-C interface. Designed for mobile workflows, it supports high-speed transfers up to 20Gbps and sustained read/write performance (up to 2000 MB/s with SLC cache), making it suitable for storing and backing up 4K/8K video, high-resolution photos, documents, and other large files. The drive is lightweight (48 g), MIL-STD-810G engineered for impact resistance in non-operating states, and ships formatted in exFAT for cross-platform use.

Advantages

The ESD420 offers a magnetic design compatible with MagSafe-capable iPhone models and magnetic cases, providing a secure attachment for mobile recording and quick access to files. With USB 20Gbps performance and an integrated SLC cache, it delivers fast transfer speeds and high sustained write throughput that enable direct 4K ProRes recording from supported devices. The drive includes hardware-based 256-bit AES encryption, Transcend Elite software for password protection and backup management, and an OTP recovery option for forgotten passwords. Its small size and 4TB capacity balance portability with ample storage for creators and travelers.

How to use

Connect the ESD420 to a host device using the supplied USB Type-C cable. If attaching magnetically to an iPhone, ensure the phone or its case supports MagSafe or magnetic-compatible mounting. For mobile devices, confirm USB OTG support where required. The drive is plug-and-play across Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS, and Android; verify game console compatibility and external storage requirements with the console vendor before use. Use Transcend Elite software to configure password protection, encryption, backup, and restore functions. If the disk password is forgotten, use the OTP option in Transcend Elite to receive a one-time password via the registered email address to unlock the drive.

Recommendations

Store important files and backups on the ESD420 and keep the drive in a protective case during transport. Do not drop or strike the device deliberately. For reliable magnetic attachment to a phone, use a MagSafe-compatible phone or a magnetic-compatible case. Check host device compatibility (USB OTG, operating system, and ProRes support) to ensure intended recording or transfer workflows function as expected.
