Προσαρμογέας καλωδίου RJ45 S/CONN 71220-8 μαύρο

The ShiverPeaks Cable gender changer RJ45 S/CONN 71220-8 Black is a compact inline adapter that links two RJ45 patch cables to extend or reconfigure Ethernet connections. Designed with two female RJ45 ports in a single black housing, it provides a straightforward mechanical join without changing signal type. The adapter is suitable for temporary or permanent cabling adjustments where an extra cable length or a simple join is required.

Advantages

This RJ45 gender changer offers a simple plug-and-play solution requiring no tools or termination; it preserves the existing connectors and wiring of the joined cables. The compact, lightweight housing makes it easy to position in tight spaces or carry in tool kits. Constructed for standard 8P8C RJ45 interfaces, it maintains a stable mechanical connection between cables and is compatible with common Ethernet patch cords.

Suitable for

• Extending network patch cables temporarily or permanently
• Connecting two RJ45 patch cords when a longer run is needed
• Quick cabling adjustments in home, office, or equipment racks
• Testing or troubleshooting Ethernet links without recabling

Key specifications

• Connector type: female RJ45 (8P8C) × 2
• Color: black
• Form factor: inline coupler
• Compatibility: standard Ethernet patch cords (RJ45)
• Usage: copper twisted-pair Ethernet cabling

How to use

Insert one RJ45 plug from a patch cable into one side of the gender changer and insert the second RJ45 plug into the opposite side until both plugs click into place. Verify the mechanical fit and then test the Ethernet connection using network equipment or diagnostic tools. To remove, press the plug latch and carefully pull the cable straight out to avoid damaging the connector. No special tools or termination skills are required.

Recommendations

Use the gender changer for short to moderate extensions of patch cables in non-critical links; for longer runs or permanent installations, consider using a single continuous cable with proper terminations to minimize signal loss and improve reliability. Avoid using the coupler in outdoor or exposed environments unless additional protection is provided.
