The ShiverPeaks USB cable S/CONN 13-56020 is a 1 m grey USB data cable with USB-C connectors on both ends. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, enabling transfer rates up to 20 Gbit/s, and features gold-plated contacts to ensure reliable signal transmission and reduced contact resistance. The compact 1 m length and reversible USB-C plugs make it suitable for connecting modern laptops, tablets, smartphones and peripherals that accept USB-C-to-USB-C connections.

Advantages

This grey USB C cable provides high-speed data transfer according to the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 specification, supporting up to 20 Gbit/s for rapid file transfers. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and reduce corrosion over time, while the USB-C connectors on both ends offer a reversible plug orientation for easier handling. The 1 m length balances reach and portability for desktop and travel use.

Suitable for

• Transferring large files between external drives and computers
• Connecting USB-C capable laptops to docks and hubs
• Linking tablets or smartphones with USB-C ports to other USB-C accessories
• Data synchronization between USB-C peripherals

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB-C to USB-C
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (up to 20 Gbit/s)
• Cable length: 1 m
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: grey

How to use

Plug one USB-C connector into the USB-C port of your host device and the other connector into the target device or accessory. Ensure both devices support the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 standard to achieve the maximum data transfer rate; otherwise, the connection will fall back to the highest mutually supported USB mode. No drivers are typically required for basic data transfer; follow your device prompts for file operations or synchronization.

Recommendations

For sustained high-speed transfers, avoid tightly coiling the cable or exposing it to sharp bends. Use a direct connection or compatible certified hubs/docks to preserve transfer rates. Store the cable in a dry environment to protect the gold-plated contacts from contamination.
