Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN Cat.7 S/FTP 20 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat.7 S/FTP 20 m is a high-performance Ethernet cable engineered for reliable wired network connections. It features Category 7 construction with S/FTP shielding, RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts, and a 20-metre length in a vibrant orange jacket. The design reduces electromagnetic interference and supports demanding data transmission scenarios while providing a visible cable color for easier identification and routing.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall shield with individual pair foil shielding to minimise crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity over longer runs. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs ensure stable electrical contact and corrosion resistance. The Cat.7 specification offers higher bandwidth capability compared with lower category cables, and the 20 m length provides flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or within equipment racks. The orange outer jacket enhances visibility during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in offices and server rooms
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming and large file transfers
• Structured cabling where reduced interference and pair shielding are required
• Temporary or permanent network runs that require a noticeable cable color for management

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil on individual pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Length: 20 m
• Outer colour: Orange

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network switch, router or patch panel and the other plug to the endpoint device such as a workstation, server or network-attached storage. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and sources of strong electrical noise. For installations in racks or conduits, allow service loops and avoid tight bundling that can compromise shielding performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within its rated length and maintain proper bend radius. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines; where crossing is necessary, do so at right angles. Verify connector seating and test the link with appropriate network testing tools after installation to confirm signal integrity and throughput.
