Shelly Bypass for Dimmer Gen 3 – Smart-Home-Bypass-Modul για σταθερό LED-Dimmen

The Shelly Bypass for Dimmer Gen 3 is a compact passive module that solves one of the most common problems in modern lighting: flickering and unstable performance when dimming low-wattage LED bulbs. Unlike more complex smart-home devices, this bypass has no wireless radios or firmware — its only job is to provide a guaranteed minimum load for your Shelly dimmer, ensuring steady operation even with lamps below 10W.

Highlights

• Ensures stable dimming of low-power LED lights (under 10W)
• Designed for 2-wire (no neutral) installations
• Connects in parallel to the light fixture
• Rated for AC 110-240V, 50/60Hz
• Compact plastic housing fits behind standard wall switches
• CE and RoHS certified

In daily use

Installation is straightforward for a qualified electrician: the bypass is wired in parallel with the load, providing a small, continuous current path that keeps the dimmer's electronics powered. This prevents the all-too-familiar LED flicker and random shutdowns that occur when the total lamp power is too low. It works with the Shelly Dimmer 2 and other Shelly dimmers that require a minimum load without a neutral connection.
