Σφιγκτήρας σωλήνα (κοχλίας) Fischer SGS 9 W2

The Fischer SGS 9 W2 Screw (Worm Gear) clamp is a durable steel hose clamp with a nominal diameter of 6 cm designed to provide a secure connection in plumbing, automotive and light industrial assemblies. Constructed for corrosion resistance and repeated use, this clamp uses a worm gear screw mechanism for precise tightening and reliable holding power. The design facilitates straightforward installation and adjustment with common tools.

Advantages

This screw (worm gear) clamp combines robust steel construction with a worm-drive screw for even pressure distribution around hoses and pipes. Its W2 material treatment improves resistance to corrosion in typical indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. The clamp’s compact profile and standardized diameter enable compatibility with a variety of flexible hoses, tubing and fittings while allowing easy readjustment or reuse as required.

Suitable for

• Securing rubber and silicone hoses in plumbing systems
• Clamping coolant and vacuum hoses in automotive maintenance
• Fastening ducting and flexible tubing in light industrial equipment
• Tightening connections for home appliances and garden equipment

Key specifications

• Material: steel with W2 surface treatment (improved corrosion resistance)
• Type: screw (worm gear) clamp
• Nominal diameter: 6 cm
• Adjustment mechanism: worm-drive screw for fine tightening
• Profile: low-profile band suitable for flexible hoses and tubing

How to use

Position the clamp around the hose or tube so the band sits evenly over the connection area. Engage the worm gear screw with a compatible screwdriver or nut driver and tighten gradually while checking that the hose remains seated on the fitting. Tighten until a secure, leak-free connection is achieved without over-compressing the hose material. For disassembly, loosen the screw to expand the band and remove the clamp; the component can be reused if the band and screw are undamaged.

Recommendations

Use a correctly sized clamp for the hose diameter and avoid overtightening to prevent damage to rubber or thin-walled tubing. Select a W2-treated steel clamp for indoor or sheltered outdoor applications; for prolonged exposure to corrosive environments or saltwater, consider a higher-grade material such as stainless steel. Inspect clamps periodically for signs of wear or corrosion and replace if deformation or thread damage is detected.
