The Severin KGK 8943 fridge-freezer 317 L is a freestanding stainless steel appliance designed for household use. It offers a total net capacity of 317 L, combining a 223 L No Frost refrigerator compartment and a 94 L No Frost freezer compartment. The unit is built with a right door hinge, interior lighting for the fridge section, four adjustable shelves, and a dedicated fresh zone compartment. Classified in climate class SN-T, the appliance operates at a noise level of 41 dB and has an energy efficiency class of E with an annual energy consumption of 244 kWh.

Advantages

The No Frost system in both fridge and freezer prevents ice build-up and reduces the need for manual defrosting while maintaining consistent cooling performance. The stainless steel finish provides a durable, easy-to-clean exterior that resists fingerprints and fits a range of kitchen styles. The combination of a larger refrigerator volume and a practical freezer capacity supports everyday food storage needs. A moderate noise emission class and low measured noise level make the unit suitable for open-plan or compact living spaces where quiet operation is preferred.

Suitable for

• Family kitchens with regular food storage and freezing needs
• Small households or couples requiring a spacious fridge compartment
• Homes that prefer low-maintenance cooling with No Frost technology
• Kitchens where a stainless steel finish is desired for durability and aesthetics

How to use

Place the Severin KGK 8943 on a flat, level surface with adequate clearance around the appliance for ventilation. After installation and before first use, clean the interior with a mild, damp cloth and allow the unit to reach operating temperature. Store chilled items on the fridge shelves and use the fresh zone compartment for fruit, vegetables or items requiring a slightly different temperature. Use the freezer drawers for frozen goods; the No Frost system eliminates manual defrosting, but regularly check seals and door closure to maintain efficiency. Follow manufacturer guidance for recommended temperature settings to balance food preservation and energy use.

Recommendations

For efficient operation, avoid overcrowding shelves to allow air circulation, regularly inspect door seals for damage, and keep the condenser area unobstructed. Periodically clean interior surfaces and door gaskets with a soft cloth and mild detergent. If storing large quantities for long periods, set the recommended freezer temperature and minimize door openings to preserve cooling performance and reduce energy consumption.
