How to use

Select the appropriate drill bit size for the task and secure it in the drill chuck with the cylindrical shank fully seated. Mark the drilling point and, if needed, use a centre punch for accurate starting. Start drilling at low speed to establish the hole, then increase speed according to material and bit size. Apply steady, even pressure and allow the drill to remove chips; do not force the bit. For stainless steel and other tough materials, use moderate cutting speed and consistent coolant or cutting lubricant to extend bit life and reduce heat build-up.

Recommendations

For best results in stainless steel and harder alloys, use cutting fluid, moderate speeds and intermittent pecking to clear chips. Store the set in a dry place and inspect bits before use for signs of wear or damage.
