CradlePoint 170718-000 is an aluminium-finish mounting kit designed to securely attach CradlePoint networking devices to racks, walls or other flat surfaces. The kit includes metal and fastener components matched to CradlePoint devices for consistent fit and stable installation in professional and commercial environments. It is compatible with a range of CradlePoint COR series routers and docks and provides the basic hardware needed for a tidy, manufacturer-matched mounting solution.

Advantages

The aluminium construction offers corrosion resistance and a low-profile appearance while matching the finish of CradlePoint equipment. Included magnets, screws and nuts simplify the installation process and reduce the need to source separate accessories. The kit is intended to provide reliable mechanical support and alignment for supported devices when mounted on racks, panels or walls, helping to maintain signal and cable management integrity.

Suitable for

• Mounting CradlePoint COR IBR11x0 and COR IBR9x0 series routers in cabinets or on walls
• Installing COR IBR6x0B and COR IBR350 devices in commercial networking racks
• Securing COR IBR1100 Dual-Modem Dock and COR Extensibility Dock in fixed locations
• Professional IT, telecom and industrial deployments requiring manufacturer-matched mounting hardware

Key specifications

• Finish: aluminium colour
• Includes: 4 ring magnets, 4 M4 screws, 4 nuts
• Compatibility: designed for select CradlePoint COR series devices
• Intended mounting surfaces: racks, walls and flat panels
• Material: metal components for durable mechanical support

How to use

Identify the supported device model and align the mounting kit components with the device’s mounting points. Use the included M4 screws and nuts to fasten the metal brackets or plates to the device and secure them to the chosen mounting surface. Ring magnets can be used where appropriate to assist temporary alignment or to provide additional retention on metallic surfaces. Confirm that the device sits level and that all fasteners are tightened to provide stable support without overtightening.

Recommendations

For best results, mount the device on a clean, even surface and verify compatibility with the specific CradlePoint model before installation. When mounting in environments subject to vibration or movement, check fastener torque periodically and consider supplemental mechanical support where necessary.
