The InLine USB-C Adapter Set (model 35809) contains two OTG adapters that enable connection of legacy USB-A and Micro-USB peripherals to devices with a USB 3.1 Type-C port. Both adapters feature aluminum housings and provide a compact solution for converting a USB-C port to either a Micro-USB receptacle or a USB 3.0 A receptacle, maintaining compatibility with OTG-capable devices.

Advantages

The set includes a USB Type-C to Micro-USB adapter with a USB 2.0 data rate of up to 480 Mb/s and a USB Type-C to USB 3.0 A female adapter supporting up to 5 Gb/s. The aluminum construction improves durability and shielding, while the plug-and-play design requires no drivers. OTG compatibility allows direct connection of peripherals such as storage drives, keyboards or mice to compatible mobile devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting Micro-USB chargers or cables to USB-C devices
• Attaching USB-A peripherals (flash drives, external HDDs, keyboards, mice) to USB-C hosts
• Using OTG-capable smartphones or tablets with USB-A or Micro-USB accessories

How to use

Insert the USB-C male end into the USB-C port of your host device. Then connect the required peripheral to the adapter’s female port: use the Micro-USB adapter for Micro-B cables and chargers, or the USB 3.0 A female adapter for USB-A devices such as flash drives or keyboards. The adapters are plug-and-play; file transfers and peripheral functions use the speeds supported by the connected devices and cables.

Recommendations

Use suitable cables and peripherals rated for the desired data rate. For optimal transfer speeds with the USB 3.0 A adapter, connect USB 3.0-compliant devices and cables. Avoid using adapters to supply power beyond the host or peripheral specifications.
