How to use

Select the pencil grade appropriate for the required line darkness and texture. Sharpen with a recommended tub sharpener (511 001) or a metal sharpener (510 10) to obtain an ideal point. Use softer grades for broad, dark tones and hatching; use harder grades for fine lines and precise detail. When switching between grades, keep pencils clean to avoid contaminating lighter tones.

Recommendations

For best results on paper and matt drawing film, store pencils flat or in a pencil case to protect the leads, and use the recommended sharpeners for consistent point shape. Replace the sharpener blade if it becomes dull to avoid splintering the wood or lead.
