ks tools 917.0255 is a 255-piece socket and accessory kit designed for use with 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drives. The set includes a broad selection of sockets in metric and common sizes, various extensions, universal joints and a range of screwdriver bits and adapters, all supplied in a compact, molded storage case. It is intended to provide an organized, ready-to-use assortment for maintenance, diagnostics, assembly and repair tasks in automotive, workshop and home environments.

Advantages

The kit combines three drive sizes (1/4", 3/8" and 1/2") in a single case to cover a wide spectrum of fastening tasks without the need to buy separate sets. Components are arranged in a molded storage case that keeps tools organized and reduces search time. The inclusion of extensions, universal joints and bit adapters extends accessibility to recessed and angled fasteners. The mix of sockets and bits enables work on common automotive fittings, household fixtures and machinery with one compact kit.

Suitable for

• Automotive maintenance and repair
• General workshop assembly and disassembly
• Home repair and DIY projects
• Electrical and mechanical diagnostics requiring multiple drive sizes

How to use

Select the appropriate drive size and socket for the fastener, attach the socket to the corresponding ratchet or extension, and apply turning force in the required direction. Use extensions or universal joints to reach recessed or angled fasteners. For screw-type fasteners, choose the correct bit and secure it with the suitable adapter before driving. Return tools to their labeled positions in the storage case after use to maintain organization and protect components.

Recommendations

Inspect sockets and accessories for wear or damage before use, and use the correct drive size and socket fit to avoid rounding fasteners. Store the kit in a dry place and keep the case closed to prevent loss of parts. For repetitive or high-torque applications, use the appropriate drive size (prefer the larger drive for higher torque) and consider torque-controlled tools where required.
