The APC AP8716S power cable provides a secure connection between rack-mount PDUs and IT equipment. With a length of 1.83 m and a 16 A rating, this black power cable fits standard IEC receptacles and inlets and includes a locking-style connector designed to reduce the chance of accidental disconnection when used with compatible APC AP8000 series Rack PDUs or IT devices that have built-in locking receptacles.

Advantages

The cable combines standard IEC compatibility with a locking feature that increases retention when connected to APC AP8000 series PDUs or devices with locking receptacles. Its 1.83 m length offers flexibility for typical rack deployments, and the 16 A rating supports a wide range of IT equipment while helping to prevent unexpected power loss due to loose connections.

Suitable for

• Rack-mounted PDUs, especially APC AP8000 series
• Servers and network switches with IEC inlets
• Data centre equipment requiring secure cord retention
