Σειριακό καλώδιο ShiverPeaks BS78020-2 γκρι 1,8 m DB-25

The ShiverPeaks BS78020-2 Grey 1.8m DB-25 is a serial cable designed for reliable point-to-point data transmission between devices that use a DB-25 interface. With a 1.8 meter length and a grey jacket, this cable offers a balance between reach and cable management for desk, rack, and workstation environments. The construction focuses on consistent signal transfer and mechanical durability for repeated connections.

Advantages

This cable provides stable serial communication through a standard DB-25 connector and a flexible 1.8 m length suitable for many equipment layouts. The grey outer jacket resists everyday wear and helps keep installations visually unobtrusive. The overall build quality supports consistent electrical contact and reduces the likelihood of connection-related errors during data transfer.

Key specifications

• Cable type: serial DB-25 cable
• Length: 1.8 m
• Connector: male/female DB-25 (standard serial interface)
• Color: grey outer jacket
• Construction: shielded conductor with durable jacket for repeated use

How to use

Connect the DB-25 connector to the corresponding port on each device, ensuring a secure mating of pins. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of electrical interference. If required by the connected equipment, configure serial communication parameters such as baud rate, parity, data bits, and stop bits in the device settings or terminal software. Verify communication by sending test data or using diagnostic utilities supplied with your hardware.

Recommendations

When installing, avoid tight loops and excessive tension; keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong RF emitters to maintain data integrity. For longer runs or electrically noisy environments consider additional shielding or using alternative interfaces designed for those conditions.
