Satel OPAL Pro εξωτερικός ανιχνευτής κίνησης Dual PIR+MW (λευκό, χωρίς βάση)

Protecting the perimeter of a house or business requires reliable detection that can cope with weather changes and avoid false alarms. The Satel OPAL Pro is a dual-technology outdoor motion sensor that combines passive infrared (PIR) with 24.125 GHz microwave detection to trigger an alarm only when both technologies confirm movement. This reduces nuisance alarms caused by temperature shifts, falling leaves, or small animals.

Who is it for

This sensor is ideal for homeowners, security installers, and businesses that need robust outdoor protection. It works with a wide range of wired alarm panels and can be paired with CCTV systems. The unit is pet tolerant up to 20 kg, making it suitable for houses with dogs and cats.

Main features

• Dual detection: PIR + microwave (24.125 GHz) to reduce false alarms
• Detection range of 15 m with a 90° angle
• Active IR anti-masking detects attempts to block or obscure the lens
• Pet immunity up to 20 kg
• Weatherproof housing with IP54 rating
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +55°C
• Low current consumption – just 28 mA at 12 V DC
• NC relay outputs for alarm and tamper

Tips

For optimal performance, install the detector at the recommended 2.4 m height and avoid pointing it directly at moving tree branches or high-reflective surfaces. Because this model is delivered without a mounting bracket, choose a compatible wall mount or the dedicated Satel bracket if your installation requires a different angle. Check the alarm panel compatibility before wiring the relay outputs.
