Canon imageFORMULA DR-C350 is a compact upright ADF document scanner designed for offices that need reliable high-speed document digitisation. It supports duplex scanning and handles paper up to A4 size (maximum 216 × 356 mm). The scanner uses a CMOS CIS sensor, includes a built-in display, is powered via USB, and offers an optical resolution of 600 × 600 DPI with hardware support up to 1200 DPI. Its design focuses on space-saving placement while maintaining a duty cycle suitable for regular office use.

Advantages

The DR-C350 delivers fast scanning performance of up to 100 images per minute (IPM) with duplex capability, reducing time spent on two-sided documents. Its upright form factor minimises desk footprint compared with flatbed designs. A USB power option simplifies installation and reduces cable clutter, while the built-in display allows quick access to common functions. The scanner’s CMOS CIS sensor and support for high hardware resolution provide clear image capture for a variety of document types.

How to use

Place the scanner on a stable surface and connect it to a host computer using the USB cable; the device can draw power from the USB connection. Load a stack of documents into the automatic document feeder with the print side and orientation as required, then start scanning using the built-in display or the scanning software on your computer. Adjust resolution and colour settings in the software before initiating batches to match your archiving or OCR needs. Remove any staples or paper clips and ensure pages are not folded to reduce feeding errors.

Recommendations

For consistent results, use the recommended scanning settings for document type (e.g., 300 DPI for text archiving, higher DPI for images). Regularly clean the scanner’s feed rollers and glass areas following the manufacturer’s maintenance instructions, and keep batches within the ADF capacity to avoid misfeeds. When scanning sensitive documents, verify output immediately to ensure legibility and correct duplex alignment.
