Rutenbeck Universal Connection Unit UAE8/8 8/8 LSA Aprw — αρθρωτή μονάδα τερματισμού τηλεφώνου/δικτύου

Rutenbeck Universal Connection Unit UAE8/8 is a compact modular termination panel for telephony and structured network cabling. The unit provides two 8‑pole RJ‑45 sockets with 8/8 LSA punchdown contacts, delivering a standardized interface for distribution frames and outlet consolidation in residential and commercial installations. Constructed from ABS, PBT and POM plastics and finished in white, the panel measures 65 × 80 × 26 mm and weighs 45 g, with an operating temperature range of 5–50 °C and IP20 protection.

Advantages

The module supports standard LSA punchdown terminations to simplify wiring changes and maintenance. Its small footprint and light weight enable easy installation in distribution cabinets and outlets. Materials selected (ABS, PBT, POM) ensure mechanical stability and electrical insulation while the dual RJ‑45 sockets provide two independent 8‑pair connections in a single unit.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Termination of telephony lines and structured network cabling
• Distribution frames and small network cabinets
• Residential and commercial outlet consolidation

How to use

Mount the unit in the intended distribution frame or outlet housing and terminate incoming and outgoing conductors on the LSA punchdown contacts according to the cabling scheme in use (e.g., T568A/T568B for Ethernet where applicable, or the applicable telephony wiring standard). Insert equipment cables into the RJ‑45 sockets as required. Verify connections and perform continuity and polarity tests after punchdown to ensure correct termination.

Recommendations

Install and maintain the unit in dry indoor environments within the specified temperature range. Use the correct LSA punchdown tool for reliable contact termination and follow applicable wiring standards. Do not expose the panel to moisture or mechanical stress beyond its IP20 rating.
