REINER SCT cyberJack RFID komfort USB-C Αναγνώστης έξυπνων καρτών

The REINER SCT cyberJack RFID komfort USB-C is a high-security desktop chip card reader that combines a contact card slot with an integrated RFID/NFC contactless field, an illuminated LC display and a secure PIN pad. It is designed for the German electronic ID card (eID/nPA), secure online banking and qualified electronic signatures, and connects to the computer through a modern USB-C interface.

Advantages

As a Security Class 3 reader with its own display and keypad, the cyberJack RFID komfort keeps the PIN entry away from the PC, protecting it from malware and keyloggers. The device fully supports the PACE protocol of the German ID card and, when the eID function is used, clearly shows the requesting service and the granted authorisations on the display before any data is released. Developed on the basis of the BSI TR-03119 specification, it is multi-application capable and works equally with contact and contactless chip cards.

Suitable for

• Online identification with the German electronic ID card (eID/nPA) and AusweisApp
• Secure online banking via HBCI/FinTS, Secoder, chipTAN USB and EBICS
• Creating and verifying qualified electronic signatures (eIDAS)
• eGovernment and ELSTER tax filing
• Reading both contact chip cards and contactless RFID/NFC cards

How to use

Connect the reader to a free USB port using the USB-C cable and install the REINER SCT driver for your operating system if required. For online identification, start AusweisApp (or another supported eID client), place your German ID card on the contactless field or insert the chip card, and follow the prompts. The reader displays the requesting party and the requested data; confirm by entering your PIN directly on the device keypad. For online banking, select the cyberJack reader in your banking software and enter the PIN or confirm the chipTAN on the device rather than on the PC.

Recommendations

Connect the reader directly to a USB port on the computer rather than through an unpowered hub to ensure stable operation. Always enter PINs on the device keypad and never on the PC, and download the latest cyberJack base components and drivers from the REINER SCT support pages to keep the reader compatible with current eID and banking applications.
