Rittal 4943.000 rack rail is a steel mounting rail with a silver finish, designed for secure installation of 19-inch equipment in server cabinets, network racks and industrial enclosures. With a depth of 455 mm, these rails provide stable support for mounted components and cable routing while maintaining standard 19-inch rack spacing. The product is supplied as a pack of six rails and is suitable for assembling full-depth mounting frames or replacing individual rails in existing racks.

Advantages

The steel construction ensures durability and reliable load-bearing capacity for servers, network switches and other 19-inch devices. The silver finish offers corrosion resistance and a uniform appearance inside cabinets. A 455 mm depth provides compatibility with a wide range of rack-mount equipment while keeping installed units properly supported. Supplied in a set of six, the rails simplify procurement when assembling multiple mounting planes or refurbishing several racks at once.

How to use

Install the rails inside a compatible 19-inch cabinet or frame at the required mounting positions, aligning the rail holes with the cabinet mounting points. Secure each rail with appropriate fasteners (screws or cage nuts) compatible with the cabinet. Position equipment on the rails and fasten devices to ensure even load distribution across the mounting plane. For multi-rail assemblies use all six rails to create pairs or complete mounting planes as required by the equipment depth and weight.

Recommendations

Verify cabinet compatibility and the required mounting depth before installation. Use appropriate fastening hardware rated for the intended load and follow any cabinet manufacturer guidelines for rack load distribution. When installing heavy equipment, use additional support or accessories to prevent rail deformation and ensure safe operation.
