Rackmount Open-Frame 6HE 19 ιντσών SILVERSTONE SST-RK06U-OF επιτραπέζιο rack ασημί

The SILVERSTONE SST-RK06U-OF is a 6U, 19-inch open frame desktop rack designed to mount rackmount equipment in compact or desktop environments. This silver, low-profile frame provides standard 19" mounting rails and a stable platform for servers, network devices and audio/video gear while keeping components easily accessible and well ventilated. The open-frame design reduces weight and allows unrestricted airflow, making it suitable for short-term installations, test benches, and locations where space and accessibility are priorities.

Advantages

The open-frame construction offers straightforward installation and unobstructed cooling without panels or doors. Standard 19" mounting rails ensure compatibility with most rackmount equipment and accessories. Its compact 6U height and desktop form factor save floor space and simplify placement on workbenches or under desks. The silver finish delivers a neutral appearance that integrates into lab, office or home environments while providing durable structural support for mounted hardware.

Suitable for

• Lab and test bench setups where frequent access to equipment is required
• Small office rack deployments for networking and server equipment
• Home labs and studio environments for audio/video gear and compact servers
• Workshop or classroom installations for demonstration and training rigs

Key specifications

• Rack units: 6U compatible with 19" rackmount equipment
• Form factor: open frame, desktop/bench mount
• Material: metal frame with a silver finish
• Mounting: front and rear 19" mounting rails with standard hole spacing
• Airflow: unrestricted open sides for natural ventilation
• Weight capacity: designed for small rackmount servers, networking and A/V devices (refer to device weight limits)

How to use

Place the rack on a stable surface such as a bench, desk or shelf and verify it is level. Mount rackmount devices to the 19" rails using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts or threaded rail fittings as required by the equipment. Position heavier devices low in the frame to maintain stability. Route power and network cabling neatly along the frame to avoid obstructing airflow. Regularly check mounting hardware for tightness and ensure adequate clearance around installed equipment for cooling.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, balance the load by placing heavier units toward the bottom of the rack, secure equipment with proper rack fasteners, and allow at least several centimeters of clearance at the front and rear for unobstructed airflow. Use cable management accessories and grounding where appropriate for network and server installations.
